For recent lack of posting to this blog:

• A spate of busy-ness
• A bout of illness
• A series of recent musical interludes and upheavals
  
• A reluctance to spend too much time online
• A desire to finish Herzog
• A need to socialise
• A mess of ideas
• An inability to articulate those ideas
• An increasing frustration with that inability
• An embarrassment about the recent lack of posting
